Today the Govenor of Florida, Charlie Crist, signed the bill to include “Homeless” in the hate crimes statute. Broward County was #1 for hate crimes toward the homless for the past 3 years. Teens were mostly involved in these crimes. Hopefully, changes toward how our children look at the homeless will now change. Who is to blame? especially when it is illegal to feed the homeless in most cities.
