A 68-year-old homeless man was in critical condition Monday at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale after he was assaulted and robbed Sunday morning in Lauderhill.

Two suspects were arrested.

Lauderhill police said two men kicked the victim's head several times and then stole his wallet at Northwest 12th Street and 42nd Avenue.

Roberto L. Rodriguez, 30, and Neil Wilson, 25, were arrested, Miami Herald news partner WFOR-CBS 4 reported. Both were charged with attempted murder Sunday night and held without bond at Broward County's main jail.

Police asked anyone with information about the attack to call Detective Brian Hardy at 954-497-4700.
