Miami Dolphins football players show up to feed the homeless voice!
On Valentines Day 2012, the Dolphins showed up to spread some love and joy among the Homeless at the Homeless Voice Shelter.
Instead of tossing a football back and forth they tossed burgers and hot dogs to the poor and homeless, some with medical and mental health issues.
Job seekers from out of town

Derrick Jackson left behind a home, a girlfriend and a $14-an-hour job in , Ohio, in hopes of landing a better paying maintenance job at Florida Power & Light, where a relative works.
The job never materialized and Jackson found himself selling newspapers for the homeless shelter that took him in. He is putting away $100 a week in hopes of regaining his footing.
Police Women of Broward County
As seen on the reality show 'Police Women of Broward County', the deputy of the Broward Sheriff's Office refer the troubled woman to the COSAC's shelter.
The Homeless Voice and the Johnny McCormick's Shelter, which are all divisions of the COSAC Foundation Inc., have been the top choice for placement by all police departments in South Florida.

HOLLYWOOD — In a novel move to try to get women off the streets by bringing 30 local businesses on board for a job fair, Te-Erika Patterson has volunteered to become homeless.
Keeping a few items of clothing and family photographs, the 31-year-old organizer of the Rebuild Your Life Project gave away her belongings and the keys to her Hollywood apartment on Madison Street on Monday to live on the city's streets.

You were just found a few minutes ago on the bus bench. I was raising money for a shelter that hadn't completely formed yet. We didn't know it, but our lives would be changed forever.
I think the best years of our lives started that day of the bus bench. Like a few stray strands forming a rope, we were definitely part of something bigger. COSAC was just starting out and we were just finding our purpose. Once you were with us we knew what we were supposed to be.
