Homeless Voice

In reference to the EARTHQUAKE in Haiti our preliminary report is as follows:

THE SCHOOL, our 40 children are safe. They did sleep outside last night because we were unable to verify if any structural damage happened to the sleeping quarters of the school. We will get a report later on today; communications is limited.

Haiti Comfort Home: All kids are safe and the comforts are also safe.

We have not received any reports as of yet for the other homes by various agencies such as the ones Aarron Jackson operates, as soon as we know we will let you know.

In the meantime we are SUPPLYING WATER & FOOD to our contacts on the ground. E-mails were sent out today to other agencies on the ground about the possible needs of more people needing to be de-wormed. If more kids or more adults need to be de-wormed after the initial treatments done in the past by our sister agencies we will seek ways to de-worm more people of Haiti.

Our vendors are now putting most of the proceeds to this horrible disaster. We will continue to make plans to purchase products such as water and logistically get the water to where it needs to go by working with sister agencies. We will continue to support the food distribution to the people already there that have working relationships with us.

As you know the HOMELESS VOICE INTERNATIONAL division de-wormed Cite Soleil, the poorest city in Haiti with 100,000 starving people. We are hoping the weak housing structure of the shack type homes will cause some flexibility during the earthquake, which may lead them to still be there and not demolished.
